Toasted chestnut and clove smoldering into guaiac wood and vanilla.
A crackle of pink pepper and clove lifts first, bright as a struck match against cold air, orange blossom softening the edge. Roasted chestnut, guaiac wood and cade oil settle in next, thick as a hearth that has been burning all afternoon. Vanilla, Peru balsam and cashmeran close it out, sweet and slightly waxy. Best worn on a wool scarf, one pass on each end and none on the throat, so the smoke stays a step behind you instead of sitting on top of the vanilla.
