Honeyed tobacco and hay carried on a desert wind.
Named for the Moroccan desert wind, Chergui is one of the great tobacco perfumes. Hay, iris and rose open dry and golden, then honey pours over tobacco leaf, frankincense and musk, sweet without ever turning sticky. Sandalwood and amber settle underneath like heat rising off sand at dusk. A Lutens classic from 2005 that still smells like nothing else at the counter. Two sprays wear all day.
