Ripe mango and ginger thrown onto smoky oud and nagarmotha.
Stephane Humbert Lucas built this around the Aztec fire god and it behaves accordingly. Ripe mango and ginger land tropical and sharp, pink pepper crackling under them. Jasmine and coumarin soften the middle, wrapping cedar in something almost edible. Then the fire: oud, smoky nagarmotha and labdanum, dense and balsamic, still legible on a scarf days later. This is a cold weather fragrance and an uncompromising one. Heat turns the mango sour and the oud airless.
