Ani opens on a bright flash of bergamot and blue ginger cut by pink pepper, then softens into a heart where Turkish rose meets tart blackcurrant and warm cardamom. Named after an ancient Anatolian city built at a crossroads, Cecile Zarokian's composition reads as a quiet ballad rather than a statement. The drydown settles into patchouli, cedarwood and vanilla, warm without being sweet. Two sprays on pulse points at dusk carry it into the night.
