Fresh-brewed coffee steeped in rose and creamy vanilla musk.
Intense Cafe opens like an espresso set beside a bouquet of fresh roses, a pairing Montale makes feel obvious in hindsight. The coffee deepens as it develops and mingles with vanillic white musk, ending up closer to a coffee dessert than to a straight gourmand. The drydown is warm and ambery, with the coffee still present as a nutty richness well into the final hours. It suits cooler months, where its density reads comforting; two sprays on clothing stretch it further.
