Frankincense smoke, agarwood and worn leather, burning slow.
Bergamot lasts about thirty seconds here before oregano and pimento berry take over, closer to an apothecary shelf than to citrus. Then the smoke arrives: frankincense, opoponax and cistus burning slow on coals. Agarwood, leather and sandalwood follow, dense enough to hang in a room long after you have left it. This is not an office scent and not a summer one. Give it cold still air and a coat you do not mind smelling of incense a week later.
