Oud Satin Mood opens on a lush accord of Bulgarian rose and violet brushed with strawberry, a sweetness that reads luxurious rather than sugary. The heart deepens into Turkish rose petals layered over dark, resinous agarwood, and the base settles into a smooth trail of vanilla, benzoin and amber that clings to skin and clothing for hours. It is the most recognisable piece of the Kurkdjian oud line and rewards restraint, two sprays carry a full evening.
