The heart is Nyons lavender enriched with coumarin, which is what gives the Elixir its almond-like softness under all that spice. Licorice, patchouli, Haitian vetiver and amberwood close it dark and resinous. Concentrated enough that two sprays carry a full evening, and it wears best in the cold.
