Diptyque
Diptyque opened in 1961 at 34 boulevard Saint-Germain in Paris, a bazaar of fabrics and objects run by three artist friends that became the most influential candle maker in the world before turning to perfume. The fragrances keep the founders' eye for the specific: a fig tree by the sea, a rose at dusk. Philosykos remains the reference fig in all of perfumery.
