Montale

Pierre Montale opened Montale on Place Vendome in 2003, after two decades studying oud in the Arabian Peninsula, and became the first niche house to build a Western catalogue around real agarwood. The aluminium flacons protect the oils from light, and the concentrations are high enough that a single spray lasts a day. For a generation of collectors, a Montale bottle was the first step out of designer fragrance and into niche.
